The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract exhibited strength on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives this morning, mirroring the performance of the underlying cash market.
At 9:19 AM, the August 2024 contract increased by 9.0 points to 1,591.5, while the September 2024 and March 2025 contracts saw gains of 8.5 points, reaching 1,574.0 and 1,567.5, respectively.

The December 2024 contract rose by 15.5 points to 1,586.0. Trading volume reached 2,318 lots with an open interest of 42,730 contracts.

By 9:39 AM, the FBM KLCI had recovered 10.09 points, climbing to 1,600.47 from Thursday’s close of 1,590.38.
